When people ask how Count on Moehn began, I often smile and say, 'It all started with a tractor and a spreadsheet. It’s a half-joke, but it’s also the truth.

For over two decades, I’ve managed the books for our family farm in Hilbert, Wisconsin. Balancing grain sales and equipment costs, raising four kids, and teaching high school business classes has given me a unique perspective on financial clarity. I’ve seen firsthand how financial clarity can empower a business—and how the lack of it can keep entrepreneurs up at night.

Count on Moehn was born from that experience. I wanted to create a bookkeeping service that’s more than just numbers. I wanted to offer trust, transparency, and a sense of calm to small business owners who feel overwhelmed by their finances.

What Sets Me Apart

  • I am local and personal. I work with businesses in Green Bay, Appleton, Oshkosh, and beyond—because I believe in supporting the communities we live in.

  • I speak your language. Whether you’re a solo entrepreneur, a nonprofit leader, or a woman launching her dream business, I am here to meet you where you are.

  • I am QuickBooks-savvy and detail-driven. As a certified online QuickBooks Level I & II bookkeeper, I bring technical expertise and a teacher’s patience to every client relationship.

Why Bookkeeping Matters

Bookkeeping is more than just compliance—it’s about confidence. Clean books enable you to make informed decisions, plan for growth, and enjoy peace of mind. My goal is to empower, not intimidate you, with your numbers.

What’s Next

This blog will serve as a space for tips, tools, and candid discussions about small business finances. I’ll share insights on QuickBooks, tax prep, budgeting, and the emotional aspects of entrepreneurship—because let’s face it, money is personal.

If you’re a small business owner looking for clarity, connection, and a bookkeeper who truly understands, I’d love to work with you.

Thank you for being here. Let’s build something strong—together.

Warmly,

Kelly Moehn

Founder, Count on Moehn
